Hi all, would really appreciate if anyone can help me.
I have a Mac and virtualized Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on top of it and can't figure out how to do certain things with the keyboard. Also not sure if the keyboard is supposed to act as a Mac keyboard in Windows or a Windows keyboard with Mac buttons.
On my other, Windows, computer I have set up the international US keyboard and can use certain keystroke combinations like accent key and then "a" gives á. But when typing in Spanish on the virtualized Windows on my Mac, it won't work. Several websites said on a mac to press Control + e, then the letter to be typed, but it seems that on my Macbook Pro the Control is the same as the alt button and when I press it it just acts like Alt on a windows keyboard and activates the file menu bar at the top of my Windows program. I also tried changing the Mac keyboard to US - International under the settings, but still when I type an accent it types the accent instead of waiting for me to enter the a.
Anyone have this problem or figured out how to deal with it?
Thanks!

Re: Windows shortcuts/Typing Spanish characters
Okay, so I guess using the Guest Additions confused me because I could seemlessly go from Window to Mac OS, but I needed to change the keyboard in Windows to US-International, and everything works fine now!
