Disk burning

Post by fidel »

Hi,
I am running virtualbox 4.1.02 downloaded from this site, it is running on Ubuntu 11.04 with XP as the guest OS, everything is working OK apart from one thing, is there any way of burning an image to a blank DVD? I have the programme and file but XP does not pick up the blank DVD, so is there any of configuring VB to pick up a blank disk??

Cheers

Ok, this might sound a really silly/stupid question, but where is the menu for guest settings??? I had a look but I was just not sure where I should be looking.

With the guest shut down,
Click on the settings and go to the storage section. Click on the CD/DVD and then look to the right. See screen shot
PS: You must have selected the Host CD/DVD for the option to become available.

Then you haven't selected the Host CD/DVD to be attached to the controller.
Click the CD/DVD icon to the right of where it says IDE Secondary on my screen shot and select the hosts Drive.
