This means that OpenGL failed to render DirectX 9.0c :?:

On Guest: I'm playing a MMOG, I need another account for "buffs" so it plays fine as long as I don't try to go to another map. If I leave it idle for a few mins it'll give me another Error Message (Terminated at [0xe003) case T_ERROR:(FC)). I don't wanna play with the virtualized MMOG only to have a charachter in a map to give buffs to a 'formation' of characters. Btw, I used 'Dependency Walker x32' (DW) to see if there was any missing .dll files, there was so I copied them from 'C:\Windows\System32' from my Win7 x64 to 'System32' of the Guest. DW showed some .dll exports missing but the DW profiling was OK, so I'm guessing is a VB limitation... any light would be appreciated. I have attached the logs.

Yes, my Win7 is in Spanish.

Just now, without any operation, VB gave an error :? :!: :?:

Edit: I have already read teh FAQ and searched this forum for similar errors but nothing useful came up.

The guest is fully patched, directx_mar2009_redist.exe installed (didn't wat the latyest DX9 because might be too advanced for the limited VB software video card). SO I don't think is the guest system or my MMOG.

Copying "from 'C:\Windows\System32' from my Win7 x64 to 'System32' of the Guest" ist not a good idea because the "system32" files in Win7 x64 are 64 bit, which can not be use in a 32 bit Windows XP.
Which DLLs did you copy? Most DLLs can be found in Runtime Packages for XP like .NET Framework 3.5 or Visual C++ Runtime Redistributable.

I copied only what the game needed, shown by Dependency Walker x32. I just checked the files within the VM and yes they are WIn7 files, version 6.1.xxxx and WinXP can't get the description from them and I know this happens with 64-bit dlls, my mistake then, thnx for the heads up. I think what I need is MSVC redistributable RT so I'll install that, if you think I need to install something else please do suggest it.

Btw, do you know if I install the latest MSVC redistributable would be a superset of older redistributables and I won't need to install older versions?

Anyway I get the error Terminated at [0xe003] case T_ERROR:(FC) without any changes to WInXP, can you or anyone help me with this?

Update: I found out that not all dlls in 'C:\Windows\System32' are 64-bits, they are v6.1.xxxx (Win7 edition) but not 64-bit, since Dependency Walker x86 doesn't report as such and I found that WinXP explorer can read their description, also found both 'x86' & 'x64' versions in 'SxS' folder and the one in 'System32' is the one in the 'x86' folder. As a matter of fact the 'System32' folder might be there for 32-bit programs backward support and not for 64-bit ones. But again, those dlls are Win7 dependant for other resources, like other dlls that are found only in Win7 somewhere, so I won't use them.

ANyway I have installed the latest DirectX 9.0c (June 2010) and the 3 latest VC redistributables (2005, 2008 & 2010). I'll try and post results.

Tested and same results. Time to try VMware & sandboxie.
