Vista and XP guest wont see my internet (sort of)

They seem to be reliant on what Win7 host sees.
My Win7 guest works slightly better. In Network and Sharing Center, the Internet is NOT faded out.
In WinXP and Vista guests, the Internet IS faded out.
All three, however, work if the hosts internet works.
When I configure a VPN on the host, they all see the VPN. When I configure a normal ISP on the host, they all see the normal ISP.
However, on the windows 7 guest, I can activate the VPN, even though it may not be activated in the host.
And on the Vista and XP guests, I cannot even configure a VPN because when I try to do so, when I input my profile and password for the VPN, it sees it cant see my normal ISP connection.
How can I make the connections in my guests independant of that of my host when Im on a wireless.
Im accustomed to inserting my WPA and encryption data to get access to my router. But i wouldnt know where to do that here because it seems only my host has access to my wireless card. My guests only offer a PPoE connection that isnt here, theres only wireless.
