I have weird situation:
On my host system I am connected to our client's VPN. Is there any way to have the internal network available in a VM? I need to configure some things related to company's network and don't want to install VPN client in the VM.
Really funky VPN question

Re: Really funky VPN question
My setup sounds similar to yours. Host system is Ubuntu 11.04. I connect to my employer's Juniper VPN using a Java client, which creates the VPN interface. Then I open VirtualBox and start my Windows 7 guest. The network interface is configured for NAT. When the VM starts, it binds to the VPN interface on my host. So my guest is now on the VPN. Curiously, I didn't have to do any special configuration to make it behave this way -- it just worked.
