Direct3D 'dxdiag' reports color resolution as 16-bit ???

Hello, I just installed Virtualbox 4.1.0 in my Ubuntu Maverick Host.
Loaded my Windows XP guest and installed the new Guest Additions
in safe mode for 3D support. When I booted back in normally I ran
the dxdiag.exe to check Direct3D but there is a popup that states
that the virtual machine color resolution is 16-bit and Direct3d is
optimized for 32-bit. But when I checked Display Properties it
was set to 32-bit??? Also my Penguins game ran perfectly on
the Virtualbox 3.2.12 but unfortunately on this "NEW and UPDATED"
version I get a White screen all over XP hangs and I have to Power Off
the Machine by clicking on the 'x' at the window???
Anybody have any ideas on how to fix this???
