My VPN ate up my wireless in Windows 7 Virtualbox.

I dont know what I did.
The internet connected itself without me doing anything when I installed this Windows 7 into Virtualbox.
I am on a wireless.
All my other PCs and VBs are working fine.
But then I started playing around with a second connection, a VPN connection, it seemed to make my wireless disappear from the face of the earth.
There is usually my home connection and those of my neighbours (albeit weak) on the taskbar. Now there is only VPN and dial up options.
I was already suspicious something may be going wrong when, even though the VPN was still working, it seemed to replace my wireless normal connection, instead of adding another option to the Network Sharing Center.
Once I disconnected the VPN, I couldnt connect to the VPN again either. But it started working again after fidgeting around in 'troubleshoot problems' i think.
Now only PPPOE is available when I try to detect my normal ISP, seemingly cable connection. No wireless options are available in the 'currently connected to' area. Only the VPN.
No wireless options are available in the 'Set up a connection or a network/ Connect to the internet/ Set up a new connection anyway area, where only Broadband PPPoE is available.
'Set up a network' detects nothing.
Connect to a workplace detects my WAN Miniport (SSTP) which seemingly saved all my VPN info.
