Hi,

Host is Windows 7 Pro. Downloaded and installed VB 4.1 OK. Using an original Compaq XP disk to install the guest system. Installation fails with the messages "File \i386\halacpi.dll could not be loaded. The error code is 3072" during the Hardware Abstraction phase or "File \i386\KDCOM.dll could not be loaded. The error code is 7" during the Kernel Debugging phase. I have used the disk recently to create a Windows XP system on a seperate hard drive so suspect that the CD is OK. Any help much appreciated.

Recovery CD? Log file? Guest configuration?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. However I downloaded a new XP iso and ran that and it installed OK.

From where can you download XP-Isos?
