Hello everyone
I've recently bought a new smartphone featuring Windows Phone 7. I know it's a strange choice for someone running Debian Squeeze as main OS, but I'm used to run my phone-related stuff within a VM.
The new phone was a logic choice as I want to develop WP7 applications as I did with WM6.5.
On the contrary to WM6.5, WP7 needs DX10 acceleration in order to run the WP7 emulator.
Does VirtualBox 4.1.0 support DX10? I've already installed Windows 7, Zune and Visual Studio and they run fine. Otherwise I'll have to dual boot, something I prefer to avoid.
PS: With Aero enabled, I get graphical glitches, but I can expect it to be solved soon?.
Thanks for your feedback.
Cheers!

Re: [Windows 7] Windows Phone 7 Development
Forget it!
The WinPhone 7 simulator runs as a virtual machine itself and therefore cannot run inside a virtual machine.
Haven't seen any solution to run WinPhone 7 development with a virtual program

Thanks for your reply.
Looks like I received my notification mail very late ^^"
Well... Haven't found a solution yet either. Maybe with VMWare 8, but that's probably the same issue.
