Possible to use DLL files from WinXP?

Possible to use DLL files from WinXP?
If I used true DLL files from WinXP, would it increase compatibility? Would it allow me to run games that are otherwise not runnable in VB?

I really have no idea what you're planning to do, but if it involves Wine on your Host, then you're better of checking out the FAQ on the WineHQ website. They tell you exactly if you can do that or not.
