Hi.. My VirtualBox install worked great for a few weeks after I first installed it, and then my internet connection stopped working, and I could no longer connect to my WIFI device on my MacBook Pro from inside my VirtualBox Windows 7 Installation...
I have read a little bit on the preferences but can't seem to work out what to do to fix it..
Any help on this would be much appreciated, as I use it a lot for IE cross browser testing..
Thanks in advance!!
Kind Regards - Marty

WiFi can be a problem with virtual networking. If it worked originally without any input from you it would have been using NAT (the default). Is that still the way it is set?
If it is set to NAT, do an ipconfig from a command prompt in the Windows guest and see what that says. It should look something like this.

What version of OS X and VirtualBox are you running?

Hi !
I just solved a similar problem for VBox on W764 host, and XP client.
It might be helpful for you too.
I just added a network adapter of type: "Host-only adapter", and the guest connected trough a Wi-Fi connection trough thecloud.net connection on the host.

I've got a similar problem, with OS X 10.7.1 as the host, and Windows XP SP3 as the Guest OS. I'm using VirtualBox 4.1.4.
I've never had the WiFi working in XP though, so it is slightly different. NAT is still set. Typing ipconfig in cmd.exe results in this:

I actually have a similar issue.
Using a brand new Macbook Pro with Lion (all updates) and Windows 7 32bit (all updates).
The Windows VM will connect if I am in Bridged mode and NAT mode, but in NAT mode I can't use my company VPN. In Bridged mode it will work for a little bit, then tell me that there is no internet connection.
So far I am able to fix it by changing it to NAT, then back to Bridged, then doing "ipconfig /release" followed by "ipconfig /renew".
I have no experience with any of this and no idea how to fix the issue permanently.
