Problem with CPLD-StraterKit over USB

Hello,

i have a problem to connect a Xilinx CPLD Starter Kit via USB.
The Xilinx programming software runs on Windows XP (as guest) on my Mac.
The hardware is identified by VB, that means VB detects the USB device and also Windows asks for drivers ( which are installed ).
Also the device reports it's ID and type over USB. That means it is generally working.
But when it goes to programming the device, it says no connection.

Definitely it is a problem of running it in the VM, because on a native Windows XP-machine there are no problems.
Some guys from the Xilins forum have the same problem with VB, MacOS and WinXP as guest, they changed to other VM systems. But I already did a lot of work in the VM so I want to stay with VB.

Versions:
MAC OS X 10.6.5
VirtualBox 4.08
Windows XP + SP3
Adept Runtime 2.8, Appl. 2.4.2
Cmdline-Utils. 2.1.1

Thanks and regards in advance,

Chris.

Maybe someone has an idea or similar problem with USB?
Maybe Debugger/Flasher etc. ?
Something is not like it is on a native Windows host.

Greetings,
schneetiger.

I tried the most recent version 4.1.2 with Extension Pack and also new Guest Additions.
The problem stays the same:
The device is shown in the list, and recognized by the guest but no data is transferred.
On a native Windows machine everything is fine.
Seems, i have to give up.

Have a nice weekend.
