Enable VT for Guest?

Hello,
I'm searching Google and the forum, but results are not clear. I hope to get the answer here.
My laptop is AMD Phenom II X4 N970. I check with Securable - Hardware Virtualization is YES.
So I try to install VirtualBox and setup a guest OS. But this OS doesn't recognize the VT feature of the physical system.
Is it possible to enable VT for the guest?
Thank you.

VM->Settings->System->Acceleration
After VM starts, mouse roll-over it's status-bar (bottom of VM window), over the "V" icon and see if VT-x is actually used.

Yes, enabled by default.
But when I run the checking-software (securable.exe) on the guest OS (Windows XP), it reports the hardware is not "Virtualization".

Make sure to enable hardware virtualization in your bios (host).
You should not see virtualization with securable in the guest. Only the host.

inside the guest you never get the AMD-V or VT-x hardware virtualisation enabled, sorry thats how it works. Its a layer owned by the host

fixedwheel is right. VT-x is only on host.

Thanks.
I'm trying to install Eucalyptus. Maybe I have to install on physical machine...
Have a nice day.
