VB says I can "capture the mouse" but once I do I see no mouse pointer in the UI/box. I can only use key commands

A little more information if you please.

• What is the guest and version?
• What is the version of VirtualBox?
• Does the guest have a desktop or is it a server with CLI only?
• If it uses a desktop, have you tried to install the guest additions (in the guest)?

ok i think you answered the question...probably no mouse because of ui (or lack of UI)


i am trying to use http://www.turnkeylinux.org/magento

it seems like it will be a good magento development environment but since I am a bit of a newbie it would be nice to use one that had a bit more of a UI. i am having trouble getting going with the "appliance"


do you know of an alternative that people use for magneto / VB

seems like VB would be great because everything is self contained and I could back it up and use snapshots if needed.
