Hi everyone,
I created a virtual machine (VB 4.0.10) with 2 IDE disks:
Master drive is 10Go (pre-allocated) for Windows XP
Slave drive is 30 G0 (dynamic allocation) for my applications
I installed Windows XP and it's running fine. But it does not see the second IDE disk
(VB guest additions are installed)
Can you explain me why I can't see the slave drive ?
Thanks !
Fred

Re: IDE Slave drive not visible on WXP
Inside the guest, try going into "My Computer | Manage | Disk Management". That is usually enough to bring up the drive initialization wizard for the unformatted drive.
