Assign video memory to VM

Post by Hammett »

Hi folks!

Is there a way to assign more than 128MB to video memory? I have an nVidia GeForce GTX 560 with 1GB of VRAM and I'd like to assign more ram to the VM

Thanks!

Please read the User Manual and VirtualBox FAQ about that. The VRAM setting takes RAM from your system, not the video card. It doesn't matter if you have a video card with 32 MB memory, or 2 GB, it won't be used.
