I'm running on a Mac OSX 10.6.8 host and a Windows XP Guest. I'm trying to install a Panasonic KV-S2026C document scanner. In VirtualBox settings, I went to Ports > USB and clicked the +. The scanner was listed there, with all data already filled in. I also enabled USB 2.0 (EHCI) Controller. And I've installed the Guest Additions.
When I go into the guest and try to add the scanner, I use the wizard and select the scanner (already installed the driver), but then it tells me to choose a port and the only one listed is "LPT1", which is obviously isn't on. I've read the VB manual several times and scoured these forums but haven't come across this specific problem, so hoping someone can help. Thank you so much!
Edit: I also ran a command line (VBoxManage list usbhost) and it shows that the Current State of the scanner is Captured.
