I can't copy from Win7 Host nor in Bidirectional or in Ho-Gu

Post by lapc506 »

I have as host Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 x86, and I'm having as Guest (from where I'm writing) Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 x86 and my problem is:

When I first installed XP I wanted to copy a game from Win 7, and drag-and-drop from Host to Guest didn't work, in that time I was using BIDIRECTIONAL clipboard.
Later I tried to use Ctrl+C from the Host to the Guest in BIDIRECTIONAL, and I had no response of Guest. During BIDIRECTIONAL, I could copy FROM the guest to the host.

I turned off the WinXP VM, and changed the shared clipboard setting to Host-to-Guest. I rebooted.
Now, I try to copy from the Guest to the Host and doesn't copy anything on the Host, as expected.
But now I copy from the HOST to Win XP and ALSO I HAVE NO RESPONSE.

Where is the problem, and if it's possible, how can I fix it :?:
I can only copy to the Guest creating an ISO image with the files I need from the Host, mounting that ISO in the VM and copying from it to the virtual HDD.
It works fine but I spend a lot of time doing it, think of making an ISO image to copy a .txt file :!:

PLEASE HELP

I can provide any extra info you need to help me.

FAQ point and RTFM. You can only copy TEXT, NOT BINARIES.
