Commercial support for VirtualBox?

Post by ddiller »

I am running Windows 7 as the host and CentOS 5.6 as the guest. I really like VirtualBox, but I *cannot* make it recognize USB disk devices, which is a show-stopper problem for me. I have been trying to solve this problem for over one week, with much research, many experiments, many re-installs, different versions of Linux, posting questions, etc. From reading online I conclude that many people have similar problems - VirtualBox does not support USB devices very well.

I am ready to give up, uninstall VirtualBox, and get on with my life. But as a last ditch effort - does anyone provide commercial support for VirtualBox? I would be willing to pay someone to set up VirtualBox so that it works with USB disk devices.
