win server 2003 installtaion problem

HI there,

I'm unable to install windows server 2003, at the time of installation it displays hard disk is not inserted please insert proper disk and etc... it seems it could not able to recognize the hardisk ,i think it needs a sata drivers to installing the server 2003, :( can any one help me out on this issue ???

Are you sure that it is not complaining about the installlation media (CD, DVD or .iso file)?

SATA did not become standard until about 2009, so I doubt that Server 2003 would require it.

Did you select Windows 2003 as the OS to install? VirtualBox will have set up the correct disk type (IDE).
