Number of real CPUs for multiple guests?

Scenario - a single server with 2 processors. I then create two guests with 1 CPU each. What happens if I create a third guest and run all three at the same time? Will the real CPUs "spread the load" between all three guests?

FYI - RAM won't be an issue - the system in question has 8gb and each of the three guests only need 1gb per.

The same as running 3 FireFox on 2 CPUs.

Host OS scheduler will take care of the load.
