Low resolution options in Ubuntu

Post by brentgracey »

Host: Windows 7 (x64)
Virtual Box 4.0.8
Guest Ubuntu 11.4 (x64)

I've installed the guest additions, but still can't get higher resolution than 1024x768.

Is this a known issue?

Don't believe the resolution picker. Did you resize the Guest display window? Do you have dynamic resolution available and enabled?
