I am not sure this is a Linux specific issue how ever since my setup is:
Host: Windows 7 64
Guest: Ubuntu 11.4 64
I though about posting here.
I am using the computer to connect in two places work and home, at home I am getting internet connectivity without any problems in the guest using a network bridge adapter. However at work, in which I need to use a VPN dialup connection on the Host in order to have internet connectivity, the link does not "sink" to the Guest OS too.
All guest IP resolving requests suddenly turn out to be "1.1.1.1".
How should this be resolved? are there any unique configurations I should apply in the Guest OS? Would they support both the with VPN and without VPN mode or will I need to switch between the two constantly?
