I was wondering, how do you run older games in virtualbox? For some reason, the game runs smoothly, but I can't get it to be full screen, even though the virtual machine has the guest additions installed and it is full screen on stuff like internet browsing and on desktop, but when you launch the game, the screen automatically resizes to a 640by480 size I think. How to make the games be full screen?
Also, what shortcut do you press in virtualbox to go to your VM's desktop? Windows plus tab key doesn't seem to work for me.

The game has to be able to match the Host resolution. If it doesn't, use Scale Mode, by pressing Host+C. To return to your desktop, use the mini toolbar at the bottom (or top, if you changed it's location in the VM settings). Or to Alt+Tab out of the VM, press the Host key once first to release the keyboard. Or simply exist full screen mode.

OK, thank you, scale mode seems to work, but I meant I want to go to my guest VM's desktop, not my host's one. I am playing a game in my VM, and I want to go to my VM's desktop (not my host's one). What key do I press?

Depends on the game. Some don't allow it. Nothing VB can do about.

Which games have you tested? Do they work? In the "windows" forum part is a list of games that works in Virtualbox. Can you update that list with the games you tested?

Counter Strike 1.6 and Half Life work, along with Axis and Allies (1998 version).
FIFA 98 doesn't run properly unfortunately.
