Hi all,
I am setting up a test machine and have the option of a couple of mirrors or Raid5. Which is best for running a few XP vboxes? These aren't active machines, but there for testing purposes (at most 3 of them running at the same time).
Thanks,
Rob

Re: Host hardware - Raid1 vs Raid5
It doesn't matter. All VB cares about is a place to store the image files. It doesn't matter if it's on RAID1, RAID0, RAID10, RAID5 or RAID6. For all it cares about it's on an iSCSI lun. There is no 'best practice' for this.
