Keyboard Problems Windows XP Guests

I have the following problem, I have Windows 7 installed as native,use windows xp with virtual box,I cannot use the keyboard when I use the root password Image

I can not write the password, but I can write the user name just crashes when I enter the password,I hope your answer thanks.
my English is not so good. I am Spanish. sorry

Your question is ambiguous, so I'm having to guess what you mean.

I take it you mean either that you get no response to any key presses (in which case look at your USB settings), or that you get the wrong response to some key presses, which probably means that you installed XP with the default US keyboard layout, when in fact you should have selected the Spanish layout. The latter problem can be fixed in the XP guests Control Panel.

Another possibility is that you are porting the XP VM from VMWare or Win7 XP mode: in that case you have to delete the other VM platforms guest additions before the move to VirtualBox.
