fedora 15 minimal

Hi to all,
i have installed fedora 15 MINIMAL as guest os fedora. After installation i have manually installed throught yum the gnome package group and then guest addition (without issue).

The problem is that when I launch gnome manually, no command (keyboard or mouse) is taken from gui, so i cannot login

With fedora normal desktop setup and then with installation of addition (post os installation) i have no problem. even 3d works !!)

Can you help me ?

Version 4.0.8 of VirtualBox is required to run Gnome 3. Other than that it would seem to be a missing package of configuration issue in Fedora.
I know the full version of Fedora 15 works in VirtualBox.

Note: If you try to run Gnome 3 and have issues (in version 4.0.8 ) make sure that you have the latest drivers for the hosts graphics adapter.

yes the full installation works, manual installation does not (dependencies automatically installed from yum).

Sure, there is some missing configuration or package. The hard work is to find it now

I've had some troubles running gnome3 with gnome-shell in my own language (nl_NL)
It seems gnome-shell is only working in VirtualBox if en_US language is selected.

I didnot succeed in gnome even after installing, updating, guest additions in live desktop additions of Fedora15. how are you able to see 3d working?
In my case, immediately after login, it crashes on even moving cursor

Did you ever manage to resolve this issue?
I am testing installations in Virtual Box, doing a minimal install and building from there, but Gnome-Shell just won't load...

Hi, unfortunately not, i'm have always the same issue. gnome-shell starts but i cannot login....
