Clonezilla Live 1.2.8-46 fails to boot

The latest version of the Clonezilla Live fails to boot under VirtualBox. It works on real hardware as well as in QEMU.

A kernel oops occurs early at boot and causes the system to halt. The full output of the boot attempt is here. Everything starting from this line is abnormal:

I use VirtualBox 4.0.8 without extension packs. The host OS is Kubuntu 11.04.

I wonder if the problem is in Clonezilla, VirtualBox or even my settings...

Worked around by using SATA storage controller instead of IDE.
