Hello everyone, I'm new to virtualbox, so forgive me if I posted in the wrong section.
Basically, I would like to move my hard drive partition which my vm is using to a new place, but when I move it, the vm can't find it. How can I make the vm search in the directory where I moved the hard drive partition? Thank you.

Be more exact. What means "moving partition"? What is the exact error message?
Remember: "Does not work" does not help.

My hard drive is installed lets say in E:/Oracle/Virtual Vm/Windows XP and I went to move it to E:/Oracle/Virtual Vm
how can I do that so the VM will boot the hard disk from the new directory? Because currently it says it cannot find the hard drive (because I moved it)
failed to open a session for the virtual machine XP
Could not open the medium
VD: error VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND opening image file

Go into File | Virtual Media Manager, release the VDI from its old location. Then go to the VM settings, storage section, and click on the little "Add Hard Disk" icon. Browse to your new location and select.
Things may get rather more complicated if you used snapshots.
