Any more information? Do you have snapshots already? What is in your global preferences and what is in your VM preferences? Do you check the setting on the same VM you changed it from, and did you actually use the OK button, instead of Cancel?

Re: Can´t change location for snapshopts..
Yes I use the OK button I have tried it several times.I have them on C:useer laptop...as they are original. Now I want to move them to partion E:\,so I copied the snapshots to E:\ and redirected them in the VB,but as soon as I open the VB it says C:\ user,laptop....I even tried to remove the snapshots on C:\ but then then Ubuntu wont even start, due to the missing snapshot,Is it a bug in VB?

It's a safety feature to prevent people from doing something stupid. Changing the path of the snapshots while you have snapshots is not a smart idea, because it renders the current tree invalid, thus breaks the VM.
If you really want to change the path, then modify the VM settings file and change the paths from there. Also modify the main xml file to change the registration paths of the snapshots, if they are there.
And above all other: make a backup before modifying files!

Yes I found that out,I changed the path before I made any snapshot, then it worked to change the path.If only knew that before...
