Issues with webcam on Win XP guest
Posted: 19. May 2011, 15:29
Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums so I hope this is the right section.
Also, if this has already been asked, please forgive the repetition and link me to the discussion
Now to the point: my host is Windows 7 and I'm running a VM with Windows XP to run some applications.
I wanted to use my webcam aswell, because it's old and no drivers for Win 7 exixt.
The issue I encounter is that Windows can recognize the device, when I install drivers all is fine but when I run any application that requires / uses the webcam the video just won't appear or the program tells me that no webcam was found.
Any hint / tip on how to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance
