No, I don't have anything like that installed.
ThinkPad R61 c2d, 4gb, NV Quadro
Hosts: Arch 64bit with VirtualBox OSE (newest available)
Guests: XP64

Did you do an in-place upgrade of the GA every time a new version was released? Maybe some bugs sneaked in by doing that. Remove the GA, reboot the Guest and then install the GA again. See if that helps.

I did that about 15 times in various ways.
