Audio recording in guest?

Post by jmlahoz »

Hi there,

I am a v. 3.2.6 user (host = Win 7; guest = Win XP SP2). I remember reading in the user's guide that audio recording is not supported from the guest (though audio playing is fine). And indeed, I can't capture any audio from the guest.

My question is whether audio recording is implemented in the current release, 4.0.8. I can't find it in the change log, but I just want to double-check.

If it is not implemented yet, could developers please consider incorporating this feature in future releases?

Thank you.

Audio recording is working for quite some time already. It should have worked with 3.2 already. Users have done it. So make sure you have all the levels up, unmuted and try different input sources.
