Hi,
i have a question about license from vbox.
Can i use the normal version from vbox on my firm laptop to test virtual maschines?
Its not for product use.
Only for testing software and settings in a virtuak maschine.
My Laptop is a windows maschine.
I would like to test linux and windows vms.
On the webside the declaration how i can use the normal vbox version in a firm envirement is not realy good explained.

Since 4.0, the program itself is completely open source, so no special license has to be acquired. When you want a few more features, you need the ExtPack that's published under the PUEL license. PUEL stands for Personal Use and Educational License. That agreement states that you can use it for free when it's for personal use. You use it personally. When a sysadmin rolls out VB to all corporate systems, it's no longer used under the personal wing and would require a license. So you're fine with or without the extpack.
