Hi, would it be possible to extend Guest Additions in some way to include VBoxManage?, I would like to stop VM1 from VM2 for example, this would be nice for cluster node fencing.
Today it's possible to use ssh to the host + VBoxManage, but I would prefer to talk directly to the host, not depending on the tcp connectivity...
Regards,
VboxManage inside VM?

Re: VboxManage inside VM?
Of course this would be somehow possible but there are a lot of security consequences. The guest should not be able to control itself or even to control other VMs.

Well, as long as there's a free ethernet interface, SSH+VBoxManage is the only way to go then... For labs were you use 2 interfaces in a bond for public network and 2 interfaces in a bond for private interconnect it might not be the case...
