I have installed a cdripper (Easy CDDA) and I run then on wine,but it cant acces the cdpalyer.Is there a setting that I have missed or what?
I have ripper installed i Linux to and that one can acces cdplayer,so it sommething with wine.

And where is the relation to VirtualBox?

I read others that don´t use virtual box can access the cd player.

This is not a wine forum, it's the virtualbox forum.

I'm no Wine expert, but IMHO it's an implemetation of the Win32 API, plus perhaps some core OS functionality. I wouldn't expect access to special hardware to work (e.g. accessing a disk drive using anything other than ordinary file I/O). You need to clarify that what you are trying to do is possible at all on Wine - and you need to do that on a Wine support site.

ok I will ask there,It´s just that I read some are using wine on Linux (and no virtual box)and they get it to work.
