Hey everybody! Im new at this forum and i need help to install windows xp using virtual machine.
Im on ubuntu 10.04 and im using 4.0.6. version of virtual box. I followed instructions that im found on the internet how to install xp into vbox in ubuntu and everything went fine till the first boot up into system.The xp is copied and installed all files into virtual hd and after first restart and boot into XP i get following errors:
Could anyone tell me is it posible to fix this problem and help me solve it!

You are going to need to tell us what the instructions were. Right now all I see is a failed install.
Post the guests log file (as an attachment) and is this from a retail install CD of Windows XP?

I followed instructions and i boot up and install XP from CD drive.Installation went fine and on the first restart and boot into system i get screen that im put above.
I have Toshiba L40-13G and i have Intel Celeron M 440 @1.90; 1GB of RAM; 256 MB graphic card (Intel)

My guess is that this is an OEM install CD and the device drivers that it installs is for something that does not exist.
Is the install an OEM or a full retail version of Windows XP?

it is a full version of Windows XP... maybe i could install some older version of xp because this is Service Pack 3,could that be a problem?

Can you boot the guest in safe mode? Press F8 at boot. It may be an issue with the intelppm.sys. Renaming the file usually fixes this.
