Does copy and paste work BOTH WAYS between Mac Host & Guest?

I have to install a new hard drive so I'm thinking of changing my virtual machine. I'm currently running Windows XP Pro with VMWare Fusion 2 on my Mac OSX 10.5.8 with 6GB of ram.

I have 3 choices: a) Upgrade my current version of VMWare Fusion to the latest. b) Buy Parallels. c) Install Virtualbox.

So here are my questions please...

1) Can you easily copy and paste images and text both wayss between Guest and Host with the latest version of Virtualbox (4.0.6)? I'm asking because I'm seeing older posts that say it can not be done.

2) I'm not a techie-type and just want something that works without a lot of B.S. and fiddling on my part. Having said that, I have successfully run XP on my Mac for the last two years. So is Virtualbox easy to install and run Win XP Pro on with a Mac? Or will using Virtualbox require more tweaking than VMWare Fusion or Parallels?

3) Should I install the latest version of Virtualbox or should I install a previous more-proven version?

Thank you very much. :)
