No network driver under WinXP

I just installed WinXP SP2 as guest system on Windows 7 as host. I installed the guest additions and everything works fine except: there are no network drivers. I don't know why but they are just not there and therefore I have not network connection.
What can I do or what did I wrong?

If you changed the default interface emulated type, then you need to manually install the driver. If you didn't, then you have a modified XP, as the default pcnet adapter driver is shipped with XP. We don't support modified XP versions.
Btw, you should have gone with SP3 in it, SP2 is old.
