Visual Studio installation error on Windows 7

Hello,
I am running a 32 bit Windows 7 on a 64 bit Ubuntu 11.04.
When I try installing Visual Studio 2010 on the guest I get an error as follows:
Setup Failed. There were errors during setup.
Although some components were installed successfully, errors were detected. View Error Log
In the error log:
[05/06/11,00:03:47] Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate - ENU: [2] CRootComponent::Install(): Cannot install; setup files failed verification.
[05/06/11,00:03:47] Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate - ENU: [2] ERROR_INSTALL_PACKAGE_INVALID returned in CRootComponent::Install; the following file is invalid: d:\vs_setup.msi
I tried this before and after installing the Guest Additions. I also tried copying the disc contents to the Guest hard drive and installing from there, but the error was the same.
Is there anyone who faced this problem and solved? Or do you have any idea why this could be?
