hi, i created 2 virtual machines, win7 and ubuntu.
i have 2 files: Win7 Test.vdi and ubuntu 11.04 x64.vdi.vdi
why the ubuntu image has a "double extension"?
can i change it to "11.04 x64.vdi" ?

You gave it that name yourself. If you change it, which you can, you have to unregister the VDI in the Media Manager and then connect it to the VM again. If you have snapshots, it will be a problem as they depend on the file to keep the structure. Removing the VDI from the VM will break that structure.
