restore missing snapshot

Hi folks,
I'm wondering if it is possible to restore snapshot.
I explain myself :
I reinstall my virtual box on my computer
and then my snapshot disappear
how do I fix it ?
the snapashot files are still in the snapshot directory
I find nothing on the web so I'm asking to you.

You haven't provided enough information for us to help much. We would need to know what files you still have, whether you have backups, and we would also need to know what really happened to the old VMs - because simply reinstalling VirtualBox for the same user will not affect VMs (reinstalling replaces program files - data files are in a different folder and are not touched). It could just be that you're now using the wrong user name and the old VMs are still there but inaccessible in the old user folder.
