Hello.
The scenario:
Host: CentOS 5.6 64 bits
Vbox version: 4.0.6
Guest: Windows server 2003
Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-4.0.4-70112.vbox-extpack installed
Guest additions installed on guest
Virtual Network adapter bridged to eth1
The problem:
After setting up networking parameters (tested ones) on Win 2003 guest, I can not access the Internet. I only can ping other IP addresses on the host OS (same interface), but no other hosts can be reached.
Any clues?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Windows guest can't reach Internet
In Bridged mode using dhcp you should be able to get every where unless something is blocking it.
Firewall? (iptables), router, Etc.

Re: Windows guest can't reach Internet
Have you done an ipconfig on the guest and compared it to an ifconfig of the host?

look at the window firewall. Add explorer or whatever program you use to access the net as an exception. I worked for me.
