I have installed Windows XP SP3 on Virtualbox 4.0.4 Ubuntu 10.10. Extension pack installed.
USB is running correctly. (Tested with Memory Stick)
If I try to install die driver for Motu 828mkII USB 2.0 hardware (Audio system). Windows stops to run.
The driver I installed as following:
- Start the setup.exe of MOTU_Audio_Installer-Win-110314
- Installation is successful
- Restart Windows XP
- Plug in the hardware by USB 2.0.
- Windows (Guest system) recognize the hardware and starts the driver installing process.
- During installing a driver (this hardware needs more than one driver) Windows XP stops to run and makes a restart without any messages.
What could be the problem?
On VMware it is running. On Windows 7 the same problem.
