installing a guest os without X

Post by mahmood »

Is it possible to install a linux guest on a linux host without any GUI (on a system which has not X)? Does virtualbox support command line installation or any text based wizard?

Why this way? Install it on a real machine in vbox and copy the vdi later to the target machine. much easier as your solution.

Or just enable VRDP after you installed the ExtPack so you can use RDP to remote control the VM, and thus install it remotely.
