Hello there!

I'm a Mac user, and I would like to run a tiny Windows-only 3D application called Sculptris...

So I downloaded VirtualBox, and installed an Xp virtual machine in it... After trying to run Sculptris, i got this Error Message:


So I searched Google for answers, and most of them involved installing the 'Guest Addons' after booting Windows in safe mode... So that DirectX can be installed...

My problem is that I still get the same Error Message after doing everything i was told...

So here I am, asking you guys for help!

Any suggestions please?

PS: Sorry if my english is a bit 'rough'!

With 3D, the processing is actually performed in the host OS using the physical graphics card in the host machine. See section 4.4.1 of the manual. So the graphics driver which the error message refers to are probably the MacOS drivers.

PS I have seen much rougher English from native English speakers!

Ok then, I'll try to find the right drivers for my video card!

As to my english, it comes mainly from Scorsese's movies, and the lyrics to the songs of a great band: Tha Dandy Warhols!

And dont expect to much. Mostly 3d games / apps will not work properly in vbox.

All right! My father is buying a good notebook pc this week anyhow...

At least virtualbox allowed me to discover Ubuntu, and I LOVE IT!!!
