VirtualBox - Machines not showing in Manager List
I am not sure what i did, however the 2 machines I downloaded and were using fine (Ubuntu & Fedora) are not showing anymore when I open the VirtualBox GUI on my desktop. The entire field is now blank, and it only loads Fedora. Not sure how to get the choice listing of the machines that I had again.

Re: VirtualBox - Machines not showing in Manager List
The list of registered VMs is stored in VirtualBox.xml. If that list is empty that it means that VirtualBox.xml was zapped or never saved (e.g. the software aborted before it got written a first time). With v4 it's easy enough to recover this: select the Machine|Add menu option and find the .vbox files which describe the VM. I suggest that you then shut down the VBox app to ensure that VirtualBox.xml is written and flushed to disk.
