In the standard VirtualBox client, we have the possibility to connect a USB device when a VM is already running. I try to figure out how to do this through the vboxwebsrv.
I inserted the USB filter in the VM config successfully (through vboxwebsrv), but the device does not show up in the running VM. I have to restart the VM in order to make the change effective.
The mechanisme to do it at the runtime exists. Is there a way to trigger it on a running VM (VBoxSDL) from the webservice or the command line?
Any advice is welcome!
