Re-creating VM from Snapshots
I accidentally deleted a VM in the VirtualBox manager GUI but without removing the physical VDI files. I still got 3 VDI files in the harddisk - 1 original base, 2 snapshots. But now how can I recreate a VM with the latest state? I notice when I create a new Virtual Machine, I can specify an existing VDI file. But, now I got 3 files, which one should I choose?

Restore the .xml/vbox files from backup?

You can clone the current state using CloneVDI, see the sticky in the "Windows Hosts" forum. Read the release notes.
