Hello everyone.
I'm using a VirtualBox 4.0.4 on Windows XP host. Recently I bought a msi STAR-USB 3.0 controller (PCIe card) together with the external HDD. Unfortunately the HDD, while connected to USB 3.0 port, doesn't work on Ubuntu guest system. Could you please tell me if VB supports USB 3.0? Thanks in advance.

Connect it to a USB 2.0 port instead if you want to use it in your VM as direct drive, else use Shared Folders.

VB is now at 4.1.2, the issue reported is precisely 12 month old. Is there any remedy in the works ?

4.1.12 actually, but no, I have not heard any noises about USB 3 support.
